Canine Solutions for Seniors is individualized dog training that starts by asking:
WHAT CAN YOUR DOG DO THAT WILL HELP YOU IN DAILY LIFE?
Whether it's picking up something you dropped, helping you pull off your shoes, alerting to an alarm you didn't hear, or simply putting their toys in a basket so you don't trip over them, dogs love having a job to do. And you will love having your dog make your life safer and easier!
Based in Annapolis, Maryland, Canine Solutions for Seniors will come to your home, where you can describe your needs in privacy, ask all the questions you want, and train exactly the tasks that you want your dog to do.
ABOUT THE TRAINER

Active in competition obedience, sheepherding and the assistance dog community for more than twenty years, Ilene Caroom has a unique combination of dog training experience and real life understanding of the abilities of each dog and each owner.
Noah, Ilene's award winning border collie, set a record as the first certified hearing dog to achieve a Utility Dog, and then a Utility Dog Excellent obedience title. Noah was a "founding dog" for the International Association of Assistance Dog Partners.
Ilene has made presentations at IAADP and Assistance Dog International conferences. She has written articles for the IAADP newsletter and she serves on their advisory board. Ilene also serves as a consultant for numerous assistance dog training programs and she provides demonstrations and classes for senior centers, retirement communities and civic organizations.
As a volunteer, Ilene has worked for Fidos for Freedom, an assistance dog program, and taught at Oriole Dog Training Club in Baltimore, where she coached her students to advanced obedience titles.
